FILMS FOR AUTUMN/WINTER!

Helloooo again my blog friends!

Okay so today I thought I would speak to you about films, because everybody loves a good film. And I was thinking, that instead of reviewing a film that most of you have probably already seen and already made up your mind about whether or not you thought it was AMAZING or POOPY, I am going to be telling you about all the films you can be expecting to see this winter in the cinema.

Now I don't know if other people have realized this, but the majority of the films that come out are always better in autumn/winter. Like last winter we had The Hobbit, The Dark Knight Rises, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, Taken 2, Skyfall and many, many more. This winter/autumn for the cinema looks absolutely brilliant! One of the many films I am dying to see is The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug, now if you haven't seen the first one then I don't recommend seeing the second one until you've seen the first one, as like with the lord of the rings film, they are essentially parts of one very long film. Unlike Harry Potter where you could easily watch the Philosophers Stone then watch The Order of the Phoenix and still vaguely gather whats going on. I loved The Hobbit so much, it was defiantly one of my favorite films of last year. I would even say that I prefer it to the lord of the rings, but shhh that's our secret ;). I liked the film because it sort of made the book seem even more bigger and grander as the book is actually aimed at children, therefore why it is a little dull and not that exciting. However the film is just truly amazing and if you loved lord of the rings you just have to see the hobbit. Now the 'Desolation Of Smaug' is the pen-ultimate movie of the Hobbit trilogy and it looks bloody good. I think this part will be full of many different characters and more adventures as the trailer is absolutely jam-packed with action sequences and characters that no one can tell who they are. And in this film we finally get the chance to see Smaug! The fire breathing dragon that has destroyed the settlement of the Dwarves and taken all of its wealth. If you have been living under a rock for the past forever, I will leave a link down below so you can fully understand what I am rambling on about ;).

The next movie I am extremely excited for is...i can barely contain myself just thinking about it. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE!!! I am literally buzzing inside just thinking about it. Oh my gosh it looks amazing. I am a huge fan of the hunger games trilogy and have read the books about 7 times each, which is pretty impressive if you ask me, leave me a comment if you've gone any higher ;). I will just throw this in there, i was recently in a drama class and the hunger games managed to pop up into our conversation. And one of the girls I was speaking to said the three-finger type sign that Katniss does when Rue dies originated from district 8.
However I know for a fact that it originated from district 12, because it says it in the first book and all of the children at the reaping do this when Katniss volunteers for the games. Anyways, gone of on a slight tangent here. Catching Fire looks brilliant. I have watched the trailer so many times and every time feels like the first. I honestly cannot hype this film up enough, I cannot wait. For a quick summary of the book basically, Katniss and peeta have won the hunger games and are now preparing themselves to embark on the victory tour which is a tour of all the district that the victor (or victors) have to take. However president snow has warned katniss that she needs to make out that she was so madly in love with peeta that the thought of not being with him was unbearable, and that it wasn't an act of defiance. (Without giving away anything to important) katniss finish the tour. then the reaping for the 3rd quarter quell is happening and there is a very shocking twist to who gets reaped. This time its the victors that are being put back into the games! Now that was only a very brief description of catching fire and almost defiantly didn't do it any justice at all. However you absolutely have to go see the first hunger games as it is incredible. (i'll also leave a link for the catching fire trailer if you haven't seen it)

The final film I am going to be talking...or typing about is THOR: THE DARK WORLD!
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THOR. Anyone who knows me knows that I am the biggest marvel fan that has ever graced the earth. My background on everything is marvel. Now I completely love The Marvel Cinematic Universe, I think it is truly amazing, however I felt that the first Thor movie was a bit of a let down compared to its other films. Don't get me wrong I still thought it was great, just not as good as the rest? I don't know however, I did enjoy watching it. But I cannot comprehend how amazing Thor: The Dark World looks. It looks so mysterious and complex, which is everything I love about superhero movies. I also love the seemingly deeper involvement of Jane Foster in Asgard. I think by the trailer she actually goes there?! Which is CRAZY. It also looks a lot more impressive than the previous Thor movie, on terms of production. it looks a lot bigger and more 'epic' if you will. The first Thor movie had a budget of $150 million whereas Thor 2 has a budget of (roughly) $200 million which is an obvious increase, so we can be expect great thing from this film in terms of production and cgi etc. But overall the trailer looks amazing, and it is great to see our old friend or shall we say foe Loki return! Again for all the silly people who haven't seen the trailer i'll leave a link at the end.

Okay guys those are just a few of the films I am super excited for this autumn/winter, I hope you've enjoyed this blog post, if you did please give it a thumbs up or leave a comment down below because I would like to get to know some of the people reading my blog! Also If any of you have anything you would like me to review or talk about just leave a comment telling me and I almost defiantly will.

Thank you for reading and check back soon for a new post. Byeeee!
